AJ Small Projects celebrates projects built for under £399,000 that deliver more with less through design excellence.
This year the projects spanned public realm schemes, studios and workshops, cafés, theatre lobbies, pavilions, community hubs and a series of inventive home extensions.
The judging and presentation was held at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture’s new extension by O’Donnell + Tuomey on 30 April. The winner was Castlands Road by Bricolage, a self-build house in Catford, south-east London.
