Newcastle are said to be interested in taking Cody Gakpo from Liverpool, if Andoni Iraola gives the green light for the Dutch star to leave.
Liverpool are in the process of signing Victor Munoz, which has led to speculation that Gakpo, a favourite of Arne Slot, could depart Anfield.
United are looking for an Anthony Gordon replacement, but whether Gakpo fits the bill is debatable.
