Sydney Sweeney and her businessman boyfriend Scooter Braun may have tried to go incognito on their latest Sydney outing, but they did little to hide how smitten they are over one another.
The actress, 28, and the controversial former music executive, 45, could barely keep their eyes and hands to themselves as they packed on the PDA during a stroll around Circular Quay in the Harbour City over the weekend.
Although they rocked baseball caps and sunglasses to conceal their identity, their Hollywood smiles were a dead giveaway that they weren’t just any other couple taking a leisurely walk by the harbour.
At one point, the Euphoria star jumped into Braun’s arms for a bear hug as he carried her and pulled her in for a lingering kiss.
And when she wasn’t being swept away for a kiss, the actress – who covered up her famous curves in a grey jumper and faded jeans – was standing on her tippy toes planting a kiss on his lips.
Sweeney has been in Australia on and off since April as she films her new Netflix live-action Gundam movie on the Gold Coast.
The film also stars Noah Centineo, who is already a Netflix favourite thanks to his starring role as Peter Kavinsky in the streamer’s popular To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy.
During some down time in filming, Braun has made the trip down under to spend quality time with his girlfriend with the pair seen sightseeing Down Under, from climbing the Harbour Bridge to spending a romantic weekend away north of the border in Hamilton Island.
Sweeney and Braun have been going strong since first being romantically linked at the wedding of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Italy one year ago.
According to a Page Six report published this past weekend, when Sweeney and Braun first became involved, the former talent manager told friends that the actress was “too young” for anything beyond a summer fling.
But things quickly became serious and the couple were “game on, full throttle … not a casual relationship”.
“It’s genuine support,” a source told the outlet of Braun and Sweeney, who recently launched her own production company called Honey Trap. “Neither one of them need each other for anything. They don’t have a transactional relationship.”
“He is picky about who he lets in his inner circle. If he is with her, it’s not about what she looks like or celebrity, but means he really likes her.”
In a since-deleted Instagram video posted last week after the pair watched the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs to win the NBA Championship in Texas, Braun gushed about his girlfriend and even dropped the L-Word.
“Syd, I love you and your family so much,” he was filmed saying on-board a private jet in a video shared by friend Steven Rifkind. “You are the greatest good luck charm for a New York Knicks and Jets fan in history.”
Braun was previously married to mining heiress Yael Cohen from 2014 to 2022, with whom he shares three children.
Meanwhile, Sweeney was engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino for three years before their split in March 2025. They were together for a total of seven years.
