Do you remember the Korean stealth game MUDANG: Two Hearts, announced last year at the Xbox Games Showcase?
Well, dev EVR Studio has gone bankrupt, and it’s never coming out.
Reddit spotted court documents submitted to the Seoul Bankruptcy Court earlier this month, effectively meaning the developer is no more and the project has been cancelled.

This game, which was confirmed for PS5, looked pretty cool – I described it as Metal Gear Seoulid at the time, which is a pun I’m still proud of.
The trailer looked a little bit like Splinter Cell with a K-pop side-dish, which isn’t an unappetising combination as far as I’m concerned.
It’s obviously not clear why the developer went bankrupt, but presumably it lacked the requisite funding to sustain itself.
It’s unfortunate, but it’s just a sign of the times really – investment is beginning to dry up in the games industry, which is making it tougher for titles like this to survive.
