Marvel’s Wolverine is set to be an impressively customisable experience when it launches on PS5 later this year.
It looks like developer Insomniac Games really has gone above and beyond with the game’s range of accessibility and difficulty options, allowing all kinds of players to get in on the action.
Of course, the PlayStation Studio already established its high standards with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which featured a massive list of toggles back in 2023.
However, Insomniac says that Wolverine has both new and improved settings, alongside returning modifiers. In short, this is the furthest that the developer has ever taken this stuff.

Gameplay Assists
First Time User Experience – When the game is first booted up, this menu allows for full customization before the game begins
Motor Preset – Apply presets for a mix of different Motor options
(NEW) Lock-On: Off/On-Screen/All – Set lock-on behavior to target nearest enemies
Challenge Level options – Adjust the overall challenge level for gameplay
Stealth Awareness – Adjusts how quickly enemies detect in stealth
Enemy Health – Adjusts the health of enemies
Enemy Damage – Adjusts damage dealt by enemies
Dodge/Parry Input Timing – Sets the amount of time available to successfully Dodge and Parry enemy attacks

Invert Look Control – Sets the controls while using the camera to look around
Camera Shake – Adjusts the intensity of the on-screen camera shake

As alluded, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise to see Insomniac invest so heavily in accessibility — but it’s still great to see the studio continue to push industry standards.
