Maybe the most iconic cheap watch ever made, the Casio F91W is everything modern tech is not — and that’s why I love it. It’s small, plastic and honestly kind of ugly, but it’s functional, durable, accurate and lightweight. It’s not smart, not at all, but it doesn’t demand anything from me, doesn’t tell me when to stand up, doesn’t hit me with a shotgun blast of notifications every five minutes. There’s no computer, no watching eye, lurking within it. It just tells me the time, faithfully and comfortably. That’s it. And that’s enough. — Jeff Dunn, Senior Reporter
