A British bare knuckle boxer was left in a critical condition after he allegedly began “attacking” passengers on board a Jet2 flight to Manchester, according to reports.
Callum Kerr was reportedly drunk after a session of heavy boozing when he and his girlfriend boarded the Jet2 flight from Larnaca in Cyprus to Manchester airport. According to an eyewitnesses, the fighter quickly became embroiled in a row with a female flyer.
According to reports, the passenger allegedly had to be moved from her seat for her own safety. Kerr then began “physically assaulting” the man who had been sat next to her, it is claimed.

One passenger described the moment that it all allegedly kicked off. The passenger claimed that “some guy locked eyes with him” and the man walking up and down the aisle “headbutted him”, according to The Sun.
The boxer was, according to eye-witnesses, restrained by several of those on board, with “around three or four pinning him down”.
The same witness explained the moment that Kerr allegedly went from shouting across the plane to eerily silent, saying: “He’d been shouting for the whole flight, and then . . . when we landed. . . he was silent.”

It is not known precisely what caused Kerr’s deterioration in health, although the boxer, who is in his 30s, was reportedly not breathing.
He is now believed to be in a “stable, but critical condition”, according to the Sun. According to a statement from Greater Manchester Police, officials are currently “investigating” the incident.
The force said in its statement: “Greater Manchester Police are investigating an incident onboard flight LS966 Larnaca – Manchester on 21st June 2026.

“Greater Manchester Police are now investigating this incident and are asking for any witnesses to give information or provide any footage that they have which could assist.”
Jet2 is reportedly launching its own investigation into exactly what took place.
Scottish martial artist Callum Kerr has had two professional bare knuckle fights so far in his career, winning one and losing one. He has also participated in Muay Thai and regular boxing, in which he has a 0-1 record.
