Bradford Premier League club Methley have been removed from this season’s Bentley Blast T20 Group A Cup in astonishing circumstances.
A league panel has found the club guilty of disrepute due to the behaviour of their players in the first round at Bradford & Bingley last Sunday.
Methley will also be barred from entering the competition in 2027.
Their place in the second round next Sunday will be taken by Ossett, the club who will host Finals Day on Sunday, July 19.
Methley were approached for comment by the Telegraph & Argus, but have not yet provided us with a response.
