So what’s happened in Wimbledon qualifying today, you ask?

Britain’s Dan Evans was denied a chance to compete in the singles for the first time after losing 7-5, 6-0 to Tristan Schoolkate.

He has a doubles wildcard for Wimbledon but will not play in the singles again before his imminent retirement.

Fellow Brit Henry Searle also lost, to Vilius Gaubas, but Billy Harris, Max Basing and Oliver Tarvet all won.

Heather Watson is currently still playing but another British player, Esther Adeshina, was beaten earlier.

Erika Andreeva, the older sister of recent French Open winner Mirra, also lost to Kayla Day.

But former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu defeated Jil Teichmann in two sets.

Men’s qualifying second seed Jaime Faria was victorious against Luka Pavlovic.
