A section of Queens Drive is closed after a crash involving an ambulance and one other vehicle. An incident manager for Merseyside Police said the force was called at 7pm after an ambulance had “collided with another vehicle”. Police remain at the scene.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reports that the southbound part of the road is closed following an accident between the junctions of Mill Lane and Quarry Road.
Pictures taken at the scene show five ambulances and a number of police vehicles at the scene.
