Sony has introduced a new sale on the PS Store, discounting a select batch of games in a Weekend Offer.
As the name suggests, these discounts are only sticking around over this weekend, running from 26th to 29th June, 2026.
We’ve put together a list of games you may be interested in while they’re going cheap.
Currently the discounts are not active on the North American PS Store; we’ll update this page if and when they become available.

Gearbox’s popular looter shooter is back in typical style with Borderlands 3, and it looks and plays better than ever on PS5. While it doesn’t innovate on older entries all that much, the third game in the franchise is probably the best. Improved gameplay makes the act of firing weapons a joy, there’s a tonne of variety in quests and guns, and that signature love-or-hate humour is very much in place. It shines brightest on Sony’s current-gen machine, too, thanks to boosted visuals and up to 120 frames-per-second on the right display. There are few better co-op shooters out there — this is an absolute blast with friends, whether playing locally or online.

The fourth main instalment in the Borderlands series tries something a little different, introducing a fully open world to explore as you hunt down bigger and better loot. While the formula is otherwise familiar, some of the rougher edges have been refined, making for a smoother experience overall. If you’re a fan of the series’ particular flavour, Borderlands 4 will serve you well, even if it doesn’t totally reinvent the wheel.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition brings together the original looter shooter with all its DLC, and it still offers up solid fun today. EA’s first foray into remasters sees the triumphant return of one of the arcade racing kings. Burnout Paradise was ahead of its time on PS3 in many ways, and this remaster proves that; its updated visuals look good, the open world racing is as slick and speedy as ever, and the innovative online features are still better than most. With all the DLC included and an addictive array of events and collectibles, this 10-year-old racer will keep you strapped to your seat for hours on end.

DIRT 5 comes from a Codemasters team made up of many Evolution Studios alumni, giving this off-road racer a slight MotorStorm flavour. The festival vibes are alive and well here, with colourful presentation and a great soundtrack providing the background for a varied and fun racing calendar. Unlike its DiRT Rally cousins, this game is unabashedly arcadey, putting the emphasis on sliding sideways through the mud, across the ice, and into clouds of dust. An unintrusive storyline featuring characters voiced by Nolan North and Troy Baker carries you through the single player, while a level editor and some neat multiplayer modes are waiting for you too. A slick, well presented racing game with real energy.

EA Sports WRC is what you get when you combine Codemasters’ rally game expertise with the official licence for the motorsport. With all the proper cars and drivers represented, as well as many challenging locations to drive through and a deep career mode, this is an authentic-feeling rally racer that hits most of the right marks.

One of the best detective games of all time, L.A. Noire on PS4 will certainly give you bang for your buck thanks to its improved graphical prowess and neat package containing all of the original’s content. It may not be the greatest looking remaster overall, but visuals aside, it’s still the engaging storylines and the complex characters that you’ll come back for. Team Bondi may have been shot three days before retirement, but its spirit lives on.

Like a game straight out of Tim Burton’s noggin, Lost in Random brings a somewhat creepy fantasy world to life. You play as a girl named Even, out to save her sister in the mysterious, chance-based land of Random. Accompanied by a sentient dice companion, you’ll meet all kinds of quirky characters, engage in unique card-based combat, and unravel a wonderfully written story. If you’re looking for something a little out there, this comes highly recommended.

Remakes don’t really get much better than Mafia: Definitive Edition. This extended version of 2K Czech’s bona fide PS2 crime classic is dripping with atmosphere, and a real standout narrative-driven experience. With tons of little time appropriate touches, like radio broadcasts and period-accurate newspaper clippings, this is the kind of open world you can really embed yourself in.

Mafia: The Old Country takes the series back to its roots as a more straightforward action adventure, and it also winds back the clock to the early days of organised crime. Set in 1900s Sicily, you play as Enzo Favara, who becomes involved in the Torrisi crime family. While the game is open world to an extent, it’s mostly there to provide a compelling period backdrop to the dramatic story at its core. It has its flaws, but there’s a lot to like about this one.
