A public showcase of bold architectural concepts for Wimborne Minster, developed by students from Arts University Bournemouth, will be held at Allendale House on July 3 and 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Organised by the Neighbourhood Plan Team, the exhibition will present proposals for an ‘elevated village’ on the Allenview Car Park site and invite residents to vote for their favourite design.
A spokesperson for the Neighbourhood Plan Team said: “The Neighbourhood Plan belongs to the community, so it’s vital that local people have the opportunity to help shape it.

“This exhibition is a chance to see some exciting and imaginative ideas, meet the talented students behind the designs, and join the conversation about the future of Wimborne Minster.
“Whether you simply come to look, cast your vote or share your thoughts, we’d love to hear from you.”
The exhibition is part of the development of the new Wimborne Minster Neighbourhood Plan, which will guide the town’s development for the next 10 to 15 years.
Although the student designs are conceptual, they aim to inspire community discussion and creative thinking about Wimborne’s future.
