Private sector officials ask government, BOJ for help in securing foreign exchange

TOKYO — Japan’s top banks and the government-backed Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) have started financing the first round of projects agreed to in U.S.-Japan tariff negotiations, but there are already warning signs that securing additional funds will not be easy.
