Introducing the basic iPhone 18 to Air 2 is likely to take place next spring, but a very interesting photo is starting to circulate on the Internet, which allegedly reveals the design of one of these phones. And since it is being shared by more and more previously credible leakerAlthough we think the picture looks quite strange, it would be a mistake not to introduce it to you.

In the gallery below you can see a phone with a dual rear camera, which is very similar in design to the one that Apple now used by iPhone 17 Pro. The only difference is the missing third lens, with the rest of the back being practically the same as the Pro model. It even lacks LiDAR, which is currently the domain of the Pro series only. However, although it may of course be a photomontage, leaker Majin Buu has hinted that we may be looking at a form iPhone 18 who wants Apple supposedly closer to the Pro series in terms of design.
Hoarfrost leakBut researchers are speculating whether it is more of a reworked version iPhone Air, which is also expected to feature a dual camera as the main change compared to the first generation of this phone. However, we would definitely not bet on it in the editorial office, given that the device looks relatively thick in the photo. Its front side also looks quite interesting, although it does not have a completely narrow Dynamic Island, which is expected for future iPhones, but the bezels around the display are really narrow.

As I have emphasized several times above, it is really a question of whether we are looking at, for example, one of the prototypes of future iPhones, or on the contrary, just a photomontage of the iPhone 17 Pro with the third lens removed. However, the fact is that if the back of any of the future iPhones (excluding the Pro series, of course) undergo a similar upgrade, one could expect quite big things from their photo system. Because the main reason that led Apple to apply a similar hump to iPhone 17 Pro, was a major improvement to the space-consuming camera – specifically the introduction of a more advanced telephoto lens.
