The White Rose sit second with four games left, knowing a top-two finish will guarantee a spot in the knockout rounds.

Derbyshire were put into bat at Chesterfield, with Wayne Madsen (62) and Martin Andersson (51) helping them to 126-2 inside 11 overs.

Yorkshire pulled things back slightly, but Ross Whiteley (36) produced a sparkling late cameo to propel the hosts to 215-9 at the end of their innings.

Hasan Ali (3-39) took key wickets throughout the innings, while Revis (2-14) bowled well in his two overs.

Losing skipper Jonny Bairstow for a duck two balls into the reply was not part of Yorkshire’s plans, and though Will Luxton (46) fought back, the visitors looked out of the game at 95-5 after 11.4 overs.

But Revis (69 not out from 32 balls) and Faheem Ashraf (40) kept Yorkshire in the game with a partnership of 67.

Ben Aitchison (3-46) took three wickets in the 17th over and appeared to have killed off Yorkshire’s hopes.

Revis took charge from 172-8, but Yorkshire still needed 37 to win off the last two overs.

He kept swinging though and pulled the equation down to two runs needed from one ball, managing a single to secure a tie, ending a run of nine consecutive defeats for the visitors at Chesterfield.

Yorkshire will be keeping an eye on George Hill, who had to leave the field early in the game due to heart palpitations.

He did not feature on Friday night, as Yorkshire lost a cross-pool thriller in the Blast to Hampshire by two wickets.

Despite Luxton scoring 37, the visitors were struggling to set a decent target in Southampton, until AJ Tye blasted 44 from 17 balls down the order.

Chris Wood was outstanding with his 3-23 from four overs, while Scott Currie also took three wickets, as Hampshire restricted their opponents to 150 all out.

Initially, Joe Weatherley got Hampshire off to a flyer with 63 from 33 balls, but Dan Moriarty soon got to work.

He took 3-27 from his four overs to leave the hosts floundering on 87-5.

Hampshire hit back, and while three wickets for Tye left them on 133-8, Wood and Tristan Stubbs saw them over the line off the penultimate ball of the innings.

Yorkshire must keep winning, and they face a vital home game next, against Durham at Headingley this Friday evening.
