Following the ceremony, they boarded an aircraft along with their children.
However, the plane was forced to turn around in mid-air and return to the airport.
Fury revealed the pilot had made the decision after flying ‘100 miles’ due to a ‘problem with one of the wings’.
He took to Instagram to share details of the ordeal with his fans in a video captioned: “Bad news.”
Speaking to the camera, Fury explained: “So, we’ve travelled 100 miles on the plane and the captain’s come over to me and said ‘we’ve got to turn this plane around because there’s a problem with one of the wings and it won’t fix on the computer so we gotta try and get back and turn around’.”
The former heavyweight world champion added: “Talk about totally sh***ing yourself.
“So we’re now spinning the plane around and going back to the airport where we started. Terrifying.”
He filmed the video whilst still on board the aircraft, showing his family on the plane as it turned back.
It comes after Fury and Paris tied the knot for the third time, 17 years after their first wedding.
They renewed their vows in a luxury ceremony in the south of France earlier this week.

Fury is currently enjoying his time away from the boxing ring having retired in January.
The 37-year-old made the decision to hang up his gloves after back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
However, he has since suggested he could make a stunning comeback.
Speaking to reporters in Turkey earlier this summer he claimed he wanted a third bout against Usyk.
Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua’s name continues to be linked with a long-awaited all-British affair.
Turki Alalshikh even told talkSPORT on the night of Usyk’s win over Daniel Dubois that a three-fight deal with Fury was being put together.

The Mancunian has since changed his mind on a return to the ring, though.
After being asked when he would make his comeback, he told Sky Sports: “Never.
“Too old, look at my beard, all grey. Boxing is a young man’s game.”
Fury retired with a 34-2-1 record with his only two defeats coming to Usyk.
