A woman has been arrested on suspicion of child sex offences at a school in Bury. Police confirmed there had been reports of safeguarding concerns at St Gabriel’s RC High School on Bridge Road near the town centre.
An investigation was launched, with a woman having been arrested on suspicion of having sexual communications with a child and inciting a child to commit a sexual act.
It is not known exactly when she was arrested, but she is currently on bail pending further investigations. No further details have been released.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers received reports of safeguarding concerns at St Gabriel’s RC High School.
“A woman has been arrested on suspicion of having sexual communication with a child and inciting a child to commit a sexual offence.
“The woman is currently on bail pending further investigation. An investigation is underway.”
