There are a bunch of deer who live in my backyard. They’ve even started leaving their tiny babies in the grass every day, which is so fun to see! We’ve seen it all, from an 8-point buck to the tiny babies and everything in between. Except for the most majestic of all: an albino deer.
Recently, an albino deer wandered into a woman’s yard, and she was absolutely breathtaking. I would never want her to leave! You have to see her for yourself:
Arabella and Aubrielle are so lucky to have seen not only this amazing albino deer but also two little babies having the zoomies! Baby deer are my favorite: they have so much leg and absolutely no idea what to do with it all.
In this case, the two of them chase each other around while the albino deer strikes a pose nearby. She seems very intent on watching for threats and keeping everyone safe. Meanwhile, they’re doing everything they can to draw attention to themselves.

These three deer don’t even scratch the surface of how many deer come through her yard every single day. In a follow-up video, she shared them all gathering together, and it’s honestly kind of crazy:
I counted nine, but there could be (and probably are) more around there somewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a dozen deer in that yard … And yet, only one of them is snow white!
How Rare Are Albino Deer?
Out of at least nine deer, only one of them is this incredible white color. Albino deer (and animals in general) are pretty rare, so it’s always such a treat to see them!

Albino deer only occur in about 1 of every 25,000 births. Albino deer are not protected by federal law, but some states have protections for them, meaning they can’t be hunted. Those states are:
No other states offer any legal protection for albino deer, but they’re also not classified as endangered in any way. They’re not a different species, only a mutation! Even so, they’re so cool!
