ITV’s The Dark follows DI Monica Kennedy, played by Outlander star Laura Donnelly, and her new partner DC Connor Crawford, portrayed by Mark Rowley.
Paranoia rises after a body is discovered in the idyllic wilderness as locals realise there is a serial killer hidden amongst them.
Monica becomes entangled in a game of cat and mouse with the killer, but begins to lose trust in her own judgement as her own history creeps up on her.
Actors Laura and Mark were spotted filming for the show in and around Greenock in September and October last year.
