A former Love Island contestant has shared his disappointment after criticising another Islander’s Casa Amor choice.
This week saw the conclusion of the programme’s most notorious twist, Casa Amor, where the contestants faced their ultimate challenge. On Wednesday evening (July 1), the stars had to decide whether to remain with their existing partners or opt for one of the bombshells.
The outcomes left viewers shocked when two of the female contestants ended up single. Yesterday evening (July 2), Angelista was shown struggling to hold back tears as Simba tried to explain his Casa Amor behaviour.
However, with the recoupling finished and numerous discussions ahead, five Love Islanders were forced to leave the villa.

Bombshells Will, Carlos, Aaron, Olivia and Nevaeh were not selected and consequently left the Island. Will has now revealed his feelings about the “bitter pill to swallow” following his time getting acquainted with Priya, reports OK!
During the recoupling ceremony, Priya decided to pair up with new arrival Jordon Wilson, who had also shown interest in getting to know Jasmine. Despite potentially finding herself in another love triangle, Priya acknowledged this was her preferred option over selecting Carlos.
In an interview with ITV following his departure, Carlos reflected: “It feels tough because you want to go in there, find a connection and have an amazing experience.
“I did, don’t get me wrong, but it’s hard because I thought I had a good connection with Priya, and that we were getting on really well.

“And from the chats I was having with the boys and the girls, they were reassuring me all the time that I was her number one and she felt the most comfortable with me.
“So I was very confident that I was going to get picked. It’s definitely a bitter pill to swallow because I didn’t expect it. It’s still quite a shock, to be honest.”
He subsequently revealed that his “chapter with Priya is closed”, going on to say: “She had her chance and I don’t really want to be a second option.
“I don’t feel like I deserve that. I opened up to her which is quite hard for me to do. Also the person she chose, she isn’t even their number one.
“We’ll see what happens with that, but she’s not made the right decision if I’m honest. Also, I was chatting to Angelista as well. I regret not putting in more effort with her and focusing on Priya instead.”
Love Island airs Friday to Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
