Crystal Serenity docked at Portland Port shortly after 5am today.
It is the penultimate stop of its 10 day journey from Lisbon to Southampton and is due to depart Portland Port at 7pm.
The 68,000-tonne vessel was christened by Dame Julie at a ceremony in Southampton in 2003 and serves as the flagship of the Crystal Cruises fleet.
The legendary entertainer’s connection to the ship runs deep, with a regal portrait of her proudly displayed in the ship’s main hall.
The ship has the capacity to carry up to 740 passengers and even includes a large fitness centre, a luxurious spa as well as two full-sized tennis courts.
Crystal Serenity spans over 13 decks and sails under the flag of the Bahamas, costing more than £262 million to build in 2003 and underwent a massive refurbishment in 2023 of more than £100 million.
