“I think the world of broadcast has changed,” Hearn explained. “Obviously it’s moved into a digital space [with] a lot of apps and that will lead to a smaller viewership than a linear platform that you would have seen in the past. Don’t forget that Anthony Joshua is exclusively with DAZN, he’s probably the biggest star in the sport. Ben Whittaker is also exclusively with DAZN, another of the biggest stars in the sport. You’ve got Boots, you’ve got Bam [Rodriguez], you’ve got [Dmitry] Bivol, so I think crossover star I mean probably you have two crossover stars in boxing and that’s Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, [if you] talk about in the UK so, yeah, it’s difficult. That’s not an easy job.”
