Coronation Street fans are continuing to question what Christina Boyd is hiding, which comes after they questioned a ‘missing’ part in her story from the night of Theo Silverton’s murder.
As those who follow the ITV soap know, Christina, the mother of former Rovers barmaid Daisy Midgeley, who returned to Weatherfield late last year before striking up a romance with George Shuttleworth, was among those named as suspects in the investigation into the abuser’s death.
Confirmation of his murder, following a reign of mental and physical abuse over his partner, Todd Grimshaw, came after flashforward scenes aired in February transported viewers to April, where Betsy was being interviewed by police after discovering the dead body of someone she knew.

Eventually, a week after the wedding aired, it was revealed that Theo was the victim, which came after he tried to torment Todd one last time. His death has since triggered a murder investigation, with Corrie confirming Todd as a suspect, along with Christina, George, Summer Spellman, Gary Windass and Danielle Silverton.
But as Corrie fans have recently discovered, it wasn’t any of the six, as a flashback to the night in question featured in a dramatic episode of the long-running show last month confirmed it was Sarah Platt who appeared to deal the fatal blow that sent a drunk Theo tumbling off the scaffolding outside his flat and plummeting to the ground.
While viewers now know the truth, they’re still confused as to what Christina could be hiding, especially as they previously shared how her whereabouts on the night of Theo’s murder were never fully explained.

During Monday’s (July 6) visit to Weatherfield, Summer tried to avoid George and Christina in the Rovers before the latter convinced her to join them back at home. George apologised profusely to Summer for ever suspecting her of murder and swore that he would spend the rest of his life making it up to her.
With Summer expressing her hurt, but appearing ready to move on from the ordeal, which saw her charged and put behind bars for weeks for Theo’s murder, Christina headed to put the kettle on, but when her phone vibrated, her face dropped when she saw who it was, and she quickly killed the call.
It left Corrie fans flocking to social media with questions about Christina’s suspicious behaviour. @xxAlicia89 said: “Christina up to something dodgy #Corrie.” @Dayjur11 commented: “Christina luv, don’t make it so obvious that you’re hiding something. #corrie.” @RyanSoapKing25 asked: “What is Christina hiding? #Corrie.”
Meanwhile, @sarahlawson84 suggested: “So….go with me here. Sarah didn’t kill Theo. Christina found him clinging to life and got one of her dodgy contacts to finish the job – at a price. And now it’s time to pay…and she can’t #Corrie.”
