Cardiff have confirmed the signing of Wales outside-half Jarrod Evans from Harlequins.
Evans was a fan favourite at the Arms Park before joining Harlequins for the 2023/24 season before making 48 appearances for the English giants.
During his previous stint in Cardiff, Evans made 126 appearances, scored 765 points and helped the Blue & Blacks to the European Challenge Cup title in 2018.

The 29-year-old has now decided to return to his former club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
“I’m so pleased to be coming back to Cardiff. I came through the system at the Arms Park from 14 years old, I have so many good memories in Blue & Black and a lot of my friends are still at the club,” said Evans.
“I have kept a close eye on how well they have been going while I was away, whether watching from the stands or afar, and the brand of rugby and atmosphere has been electric.
“So, I am really excited about coming back and being part of it as the club celebrates its 150th season.
“I feel like I have matured as a player and person. It’s good to get different experiences. I’ve had three with Harlequins where I was out of my comfort zone, experiencing a different environment and style, so hopefully there are things I can bring back to Cardiff.
“I want to help build on the success I’ve seen since I left. We have so many good, young, talented players coming through with some established senior internationals as well.
“I just want to add what I can, and hopefully the club can go on and build on last season.”
Evans will compete with the likes of Callum Sheedy, Ioan Lloyd and Harri Wilde at the Arms Park, ensuring there is plenty of strength in depth at the Arms Park.
“I’m really excited to add Jarrod to our squad,” said Cardiff head coach Corniel van Zyl.
“Obviously he is returning to his home club, and this place means a lot to him.
“He has been competing at the highest level for a long-term and he’s gone and got some new experiences at Harlequins, which will only have improved him.
“Moving into the Champions Cup, we felt fly-half was an area we needed to strengthen and he will now compete with Callum Sheedy and Ioan Lloyd in a pivotal position for the team where we have some real strength.
“Everyone at the Arms Park will know his attacking style of play and I am looking forward to seeing that, but he has also developed his game at Quins.
“He has a really balanced game between attacking and control.
“He will also bring a lot off the pitch, helping drive our standards, culture and environment.”
