There is more drama ahead for the Connor-Swains in Coronation Street as Lisa and Carla’s daughter is rushed to the hospital

Just when you thought the Connor-Swains were going to get their happily ever after following their history-making wedding in Coronation Street, the family is set to be rocked by more drama in upcoming scenes.
There’s set to be more worrying times ahead for Lisa and Carla Connor-Swain as their daughter, Betsy, is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after collapsing at home in the ITV soap next week.
As those who follow the ITV soap know, Betsy recently revealed to her best mate, Lauren Bolton, that she had been offered a place at a fashion college in London.

She ended up breaking the news to her love interest, Dylan Wilson, who then advised her to let her mum, Lisa, and her stepmother, Carla Connor-Swain, in on the move. Eventually, Betsy built up the courage to announce the news, and while Carla was delighted for her Underworld protégé, Lisa was more apprehensive.
This week, Betsy will be seen wanting to spend more time with Dylan before her move, and as next week gets underway, after a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan, Betsy asks him for some cooking lessons. Dylan shows Betsy how to make a bolognese and assures her that they’ll make their long-distance relationship work, leaving her with a smile as they hug.
A new promo for what’s ahead, shared on Corrie’s YouTube channel, has now revealed the moment an ambulance drives away from No.6 Coronation Street, and an anxious Carla arriving at the hospital to find Lisa at Betsy’s bedside.
But what has happened to Betsy? And why does Dylan find himself in the firing line as her condition worsens? Corrie has teased that all will be revealed as while Lisa demands answers and accusations fly, Betsy tries to come to terms with her life-changing diagnosis.
It comes after Corrie spoilers released earlier this week revealed that when Dylan arrives to see Betsy, he comes running out of the room and tells Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having some kind of fit. Lisa and Carla are then left to watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy.

Later, an upset Betsy begs Lisa not to blame Dylan for what happened. Meanwhile, when Sean Tully suggests to Dylan that they go together to visit Betsy, Dylan shuts the conversation down, leaving Sean suspicious. Later in the cafe, Sean is shocked when a furious Lisa turns on Dylan and blames him for Betsy’s collapse. And it’s not long before Lisa calls at the station and tells the desk sergeant she’d like to report a crime.
Dylan is then left upset when Lauren tells him that Betsy is in a bad way and doesn’t want to see him, but soon, a shocked Fiz Dobbs tells Sean that she has just seen two police officers arrest Dylan at the precinct. Unaware that Lauren told Dylan to stay away, Betsy is stunned to discover Lisa has reported him to the police.
Later, when Sean and Dylan go into the Rovers, Lauren refuses to serve them. But Dylan says that he believes Brody Michaelis was responsible for what happened to Betsy. How will Betsy and Brody react when they hear what Dylan is saying?
