A new global rugby sevens tournament will head to Wales later this year after four venues were confirmed.
Ultimate Sevens will be launched in September, with the tournament being played across four weekends at different venues in Spain, Wales, France and England. The Cardiff Arms Park will host the Welsh leg on September 12.
The new tournament will see six franchise clubs, each with men and women’s teams, compete against each other over the course of a month.
The new competition has already confirmed a first group of 16 marquee players – which includes some of the best from the 7s circuit at the minute, like Maddi Levi, Manu Moreno, Henry Hutchison and Abbie Brown.
Cardiff is the second leg of the new competition, with the first season of Ultimate Sevens kicking off on September 5 at the Estadio Ontime Butarque in Leganés, Madrid.
