Construction is currently ongoing at the facility as part of an expansion at Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre.
The 25 metre facility will mark the first time in 10 years that swimming will be available in the town.
Work on the pool was initially expected to be completed and open to visitors by December of this year.

However, North Norfolk District Council has confirmed that this has been delayed by two months after issues relating to delivery of steel due to the Iran conflict.
A spokesman for NNDC said: “The new Fakenham Sports and Leisure hub is a large and complex development with many moving parts.
“The works are progressing well and the new gym and other internal areas are due to open as scheduled between December 2026 and January 2027.
“Construction of the pool has been slightly delayed because of the impact of the Iran conflict on the delivery of the steels for the superstructure.
“The anticipated opening of the pool is now February 2027”.

The centre will be run by leisure operators Everyone Active, who described the pool as “a long-awaited return of swimming amenity” in Fakenham.
It is replacing the pavilion previously used by Little Angels Pre-School before its relocation to the town’s rugby club.
Plans for the development were given the green light in May 2025 after councillors unanimously agreed to back the project – with construction on the site beginning five months later.

A revamp of the fitness facilities will also be included in the project, with exercise studios, a 50-station gym, new changing rooms, and upgraded support facilities all planned.
The project will cost around £11m, with a large amount of funding coming from government grants such as the Levelling Up Fund.
It comes as tensions ramp up again between America and Iran with more airstrikes being carried out and cargo ships targeted.
