The match raises vital funds for charities chosen by the Prince and Princess of Wales, including the Wales Air Ambulance, The Royal College of Paramedics, Shout, Ty Hafan, Forward Trust, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Maternal Mental Health Alliance, We Are Farming Minds, The Passage, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
2026 marks the 15th time that Prince William has played in this polo match. This year is set to take the total amount raised to more than £15 million for well deserving causes that the Prince and Princess are passionate about.
With so much goodwill behind the day, it makes sense the Princess of Wales would stop by. Guards Polo Club, where Prince Philip served as president for more than 50 years, is just a stone’s throw from the Waleses’ family home of Forest Lodge.
