Shropshire-based document management company EvaStore raised £7,000 for Hope House Children’s Hospices at its eighth annual charity golf day, held at Oswestry Golf Club.
The event brought together businesses, clients and supporters for a day of golf and fundraising, and brings the total raised through EvaStore’s charity golf days to £38,725.
Patrick Evans, managing director of EvaStore, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have raised such a fantastic amount for Hope House again this year.
“The Golf Day has become a real fixture in our calendar, and it’s only possible because of the continued support from local businesses, our clients, friends, sponsors, and everyone at Oswestry Golf Club.
“Hope House does vital work for children and families across the region, and we’re honoured to continue supporting them.”
Mr Evans met with Vicky Bradbeer, area fundraiser for Hope House, to mark the latest donation and acknowledge the total raised over the past eight years.
Ms Bradbeer said: “We are so grateful to Patrick and the team at EvaStore for their continued support.
“To raise £7,000 this year, and £38,725 over the last eight years, is a fantastic achievement.
“Support from local businesses and community events like this makes a real difference to the children and families we care for across Shropshire, Cheshire, North Wales and Mid Wales.
“Thank you to everyone who took part, sponsored, donated, and helped make the day such a success.”
Hope House Children’s Hospices provide care and support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families across the region.
The annual golf day is one of several fundraising initiatives organised by EvaStore, reflecting its long-term commitment to the hospice and the families it supports.
