Tim, 60, a care farm director, will be among the amateur sewers competing for the title of Britain’s best home sewer.
The BBC reality show, which first aired in 2013, returns on Tuesday, July 14, at 8pm on BBC One.
The 60-year-old, who lives in the countryside with his partner of 25 years, Mark, and their dog Charlie, runs a care farm offering therapeutic placements to adults with learning disabilities and those working to improve their mental well-being.

His love for sewing began in childhood, watching his mum make clothes for him and his siblings.
Years later, while caring for his mum, a scroll through social media inspired him to buy a second-hand Singer machine.
For Tim, sewing is more than just a hobby; it’s a way to connect with people.
The show, a spin-off of The Great British Bake Off, was initially presented by Claudia Winkleman and now features judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young.
The new series will see Tim showcasing his classic style, bringing thoughtful finishes and garments that tell a story.
