A new smartphone called the Acer Sospiro A15 has been revealed for the Latin American market. One of the phone’s key highlights is its secondary display.
The device sports a 1.88-inch TFT rear display with a resolution of 240 x 284 pixels. It can show notifications, provide music controls, and function as a viewfinder for the rear camera. On the front, the Acer Sospiro A15 features a 6.67-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone is powered by the entry-level Unisoc T615 chipset, which lacks 5G connectivity. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Notably, it supports storage expansion of up to 1TB via a microSD card (128GB Sandisk microSD card curr. $34.99 on Amazon). The phone features a 64MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera.
The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W charging via a USB-C port. In terms of software, the Sospiro A15 runs Android 16. Additional highlights include NFC support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP64 dust and water resistance, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Sospiro A15 is 8.35mm thick and weighs 206 grams. It comes in orange and blue finishes. There are currently no details about pricing.
