Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty’s sister Bethany have reportedly fallen out following a private phone call, marking another shift in the family dispute that surrounded Holly and Adam’s December wedding.
A new Daily Mail report describes the conversation as the cause of a fresh split between the two women. The Daily Mail says a phone conversation between Holly and Bethany became the turning point in their relationship, describing the exchange as “brutal.”
Neither Holly nor Bethany has publicly confirmed the reported exchange.
Holly and Bethany Were Publicly Close Weeks Earlier
Adam and Holly marked Bethany’s birthday on April 22 with affectionate Instagram Stories. Adam called her “sister,” while Holly described her as “the best sister in law” and shared photographs that included one taken on the morning of the wedding.
The relationship still appeared intact one month later, when Bethany’s “Missed my girl” photograph with Holly circulated and Holly responded by calling her “Sister.”
The posts went up right after people accused Bethany of turning her back on the family by going to the wedding. She had joined Holly’s sisters Megan and Tilly Ramsay in red Victoria Beckham bridesmaid dresses while Adam’s mother Caroline, father Mark and brothers James and Richard were absent.
Bethany Said She Was “Caught Right in the Middle”
Bethany addressed her position in March, telling the Evening Standard that it had been “a very difficult time” and that she was “caught right in the middle of the row.”
She said she had reconciled with Caroline for the sake of her two children, who remained close to their grandmother. Bethany also described Caroline as “a great grandma and a good mum” and said it was “very sad” that she had missed Adam’s wedding.
At the same time, Bethany spoke warmly about the Ramsays, calling them “a good family” who had made her feel welcome.
The Wedding Rift Had Already Put Bethany in a Difficult Position
Holly and Adam married at Bath Abbey on Dec. 27, 2025, in a ceremony attended by members of the Ramsay family and high-profile guests including the Beckhams.
Reports at the time said most of Adam’s immediate family did not attend the ceremony amid an ongoing rift.
The Evening Standard reported that Bethany was the only member of his immediate family at the wedding and had served as a bridesmaid.
The New Report Comes After Holly and Adam’s Baby News
Holly and Adam announced on June 20 that they are expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in December 2026.
The couple wrote that “Baby Ramsay-Peaty” was coming in December and that they could not wait to meet their daughter. Adam also has a son, George, from his previous relationship with Eirianedd Munro.
