Having suffered a batting collapse in their loss on Monday – Jersey had been 59-8 inside 20 overs – openers Harrison Carlyon and Patrick Gouge put in a more assured start.
The pair laid a good foundation as they brought up a century partnership after 20.1 overs.
Gouge reached his half-century off 58 balls, although he was almost caught on the boundary by Nepal skipper Aarif Sheikh, before Carlyon reached his 50 with the next delivery off 68 balls.
The partnership was eventually broken when Carlyon was stumped off Lalit Rajbanshi’s bowling for 56 off 80 balls to leave Jersey on 115-1.
Gouge and Nick Greenwood put on 68 for the second wicket before the Wellington star was caught by Bhim Sharki off Sandeep Lamichhane’s bowling for 32.
The same pair dismissed Gouge two-and-a-half overs later as he was caught on the boundary to end a 110-ball knock, including 10 fours and two sixes.
Zak Tribe went on to make 50 off 37 balls, while captain Jonty Jenner scored 27 off 15 balls as the islanders ended their innings on 282-6.
