Tennis Greats, like Venus and Serena Williams, Coco Gauff, and Naomi Osaka, are known for making style a part of their performance on the court. Whether braids strung with beads or an all-white kimono, Wimbledon has turned into a destination for not only tennis lovers, but also the upper echelons of fashion and beauty.
Celebrity spectators are playing their part from the stands, too, This year, Grace Jones attended the British tennis championship in a red lip with the same color painted onto her nails, which gripped her butterfly hat. On the other hand, JLo’s floppy hat was controversially big—but, what good fashion statement isn’t? She paired her gorgeous, over-the-top style with a warm nude lip and highlighted hair.
Meanwhile, Michaela Coel Webb sported a summer-y two piece textured ensemble with a full set of grills for an unexpected twist. The tournament was in London, yet Mel B donned a Parisian neck scarf with her signature brown-blonde curls and black French tips. And, last but not least, singer Raye went full-on Marilyn Monroe with her ‘50s curled bob, red lip, and beauty mark.
