Where am I in Jedburgh? is the third title in the Borders-based series by photographer Iona Butlin, following previous editions focused on Hawick and Melrose.
The book invites readers to identify locations around Jedburgh using only a small photographic clue, encouraging them to engage with their surroundings in a new way.
Iona Butlin, author of the series, said: “It’s amazing how many people have bought the first two titles and told me how they’ve walked past one or more of the places featured in the books many times and never stopped to noticed them before.
“It just proves how we take some of the amazing features and architecture around us for granted.”
Each page features a thumbnail image, often a quirky detail or a snippet of a building, and space for readers to jot down their guess.
The aim is to spark curiosity and get people exploring Jedburgh while noticing often-overlooked details.
Ms Butlin said: “I wanted something that could bring together people of all ages, to engage with their local area and maybe inspire them a little bit along the way.”
She noted that the books have even sparked some friendly rivalry among readers: “People have been getting quite competitive with each other about the first two.”
Where am I in Jedburgh? is priced at £5 and is available from Border Meringues, From Me To You, Jacksons of Jedburgh, and the Jed Eye Community Hub at Murray’s Green.
