FC Barcelona Signs Karim Adeyemi: FC Barcelona officially confirmed the signing of Karim Adeyemi for the 26-27 season.

Glaring Errors in Artwork: The AI-generated image contained clear errors in the Barça kit details, including incorrect side panels and a distorted club crest, alongside an obviously artificial background street scene.

FC Barcelona have officially confirmed the signing of Karim Adeyemi ahead of the 26-27 season, but their promotional announcement graphic does not fit what you would expect for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Glaring Kit and Background Errors

Posted on the club’s official X account on July 23, 2026, the image featuring the forward has been flagged by detection tools as 99% likely to be AI-generated. While the transfer itself is entirely genuine, fans were quick to call out the club for using an amateurish, artificial image for such a high-profile signing.

The AI-generated artwork is riddled with unmistakable errors, particularly concerning the details of the Barça kit. The digital shirt worn by Adeyemi features incorrect side panels that completely miss the authentic Aero-Fit template, replacing it with a straight, continued cut. Additionally, the shoulder construction is wrong, and the ball of the famous FC Barcelona crest is highly distorted.

Indeed, the image’s background gives the AI away even more easily. The street scene is classic AI, with random humans put together – what are they doing there?

Shortly after, Barcelona posted a real image of Adeyemi with Barcelona’s president.
