Apple loyalists, this one’s for you. At this point, you know how handy Apple’s AirTags are as a tiny yet must-have travel companion that helps keep track of all your must-haves. That said, Apple released the second generation of these nifty trackers at the top of 2026 — and right now, they’re up to 10% off. While that may not seem like much (and our usual threshold for coverage is at least 15% off), that actually makes the four-pack their lowest price since Prime Day. We have no idea how long this deal will last, but we can’t imagine it’ll be for much longer.
Here’s how they work.
AirTags can ping their own location, so when you attach them to one of your belongings, you can track that item via Apple’s Find My app, which is available in the cloud and on Apple devices like iPhones, laptops, and more. Through Find My, you can even tell your AirTag to play a sound so it’s easier to find.
Each one is completely encrypted for privacy, and even when it’s far away, it can anonymously and secretly use a network of Apple devices to send its location back to you. When you move away from an item like your keys, it can even send you a notice.
The newer iteration makes them much, much more practical by expanding their capabilities.
With the second generation of AirTags, Apple has made them even more useful! While the previous model could only use an iPhone for step-by-step tracking items, this new model lets you use your Apple Watch — perfect in case you’ve misplaced your iPhone, too. The brand also says its speaker is 50% louder than previous models, and its Find My range is expanded by up to 1.5 times.
In addition to being water- and dust-resistant, these also have a wildly simple setup, and you can assign each one a name to keep your most valuable belongings sorted.
After my car was stolen a few years ago and the thieves ripped out its GPS system, I bought one to keep in the spare tire in my trunk as a backup — and found it so useful I bought another to place in checked luggage (you never know where your bag might end up!). I haven’t lost my car in a crowded parking lot since.
From pet tracking to keeping track of keys, reviewers have found all sorts of uses for AirTags.
“I purchased the 4-pack of Apple AirTags specifically for my dogs, and they’ve given me so much peace of mind,” says one reviewer. “They were incredibly easy to set up, connected to my iPhone within minutes, and work seamlessly with the Find My app. The tracking is accurate and reliable, making it easy to quickly locate my dogs if they wander around the yard or when we’re out and about. The compact size is perfect for attaching to their collars, and they don’t seem to notice they’re wearing them.”
“These Apple AirTags work really well and are very easy to set up with an iPhone,” says a user named Mars. “I use them for keys, bags, and luggage, and they give me a lot of peace of mind. “The Apple AirTag is a simple and effective tracking device that’s especially useful for keeping track of everyday items like keys, wallets, luggage, and backpacks. Setup is quick and seamless through the Find My app, making it an excellent choice for anyone already using an iPhone.
One of its biggest strengths is Apple’s extensive Find My network, which can help locate lost items even when they’re far away. The Precision Finding feature (available on compatible iPhones) is particularly impressive, providing accurate, step-by-step directions to your AirTag when you’re nearby.
The AirTag is also compact, has a replaceable battery that typically lasts about a year, and offers a durable, water-resistant design. Privacy features, such as end-to-end encryption and unwanted tracking alerts, help protect users from misuse.
On the downside, AirTags work best within the Apple ecosystem, so Android users won’t get the same level of functionality. Additionally, the device doesn’t include a built-in keyring hole, meaning you’ll likely need to purchase an accessory to attach it to your belongings.
Overall, the Apple AirTag is a reliable, easy-to-use item tracker with excellent location accuracy and seamless integration for Apple users. If you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem and frequently misplace important items, it’s a worthwhile purchase” — B
“This was my first air tag. I bought it for my suitcase. It worked exactly as I expected.
The packaging was compact, well protected, and easy to open. The air tag arrived in perfect condition with the battery already installed. Setup with my iPhone took less than a minute. It appeared automatically and connected without any issues. The Find My app made it simple to name the AirTag.
The location updates have been accurate. The precision finding feature is especially helpful. The sound is clear enough to hear from another room. The airtag is small, lightweight, and easy to attach to a key ring or slip into a backpack or suitcase. The battery compartment is secure, and the quality is excellent. Everything has worked reliably so far. If you already use Apple devices, this is an easy way to keep track of important items. I’m very happy with it. Good value for the money. I thought AirTags were more expensive!” — Kimberly
“This is the old reliable. This product does not fail. It is very trustworthy, safe, and easy to use.
My son uses it so we can always know his location when he goes out. There are a lot of unpredictable situations out there, and you never know what can happen, so this gives us a lot of peace of mind.
My son recently went on a trip hundreds of miles away, and I was able to follow his trip in real time. We also tested the sound feature, and it worked without any problems.
Honestly, this is one of the best trackers on the market, especially because it works so well and is very affordable. I highly recommend it.” — Jonathan (CAT)

A Belkin secure holder with a wire cable (25% off)
Shopping editor Marquaysa Battle has written about this high-quality, locking AirTag holder before, noting that “reviewers love it because you can enclose the AirTag inside it, loop it around and lock it closed on everything from luggage to purses to keychains and beyond. Several reviewers noted that out of all the AirTag holders on the market, the locking aspect of this one is so tight, you actually need a small tool to get it open or closed.”
“I use this holder to secure my Airtag inside of my luggage,” reviewer, Josh, noted. “The allen-head screw makes it hard to remove without the tool as a deterrent to theft by a shady TSA or airport employee. A must-have!” They’re 25% off today.
Promising reviews: “I really like how nice these look and how well they show off the airtag. I did not expect them to be nearly as durable though! i have put these on my keys which get tossed around and also on my luggage and they show no sign of cracking or coming lose. They may be a bit pricier than other options but these really feel like the premium choice.” — Ame
“I’ve bought two of these and have never regretted it. These are the only cases I have bought and will buy for my AirTags. I don’t trust the ones you can pop in and out, having the locking screw system gives me the peace of mind my tags won’t go missing. Easy to use and durable. They have never accidentally come open and that’s what it’s designed to do.” — Amber
A lightweight Bluetooth tracker wallet holder
This handy wallet holder can hold a single Bluetooth tracker snugly in your wallet. It’s smaller than a traditional credit card and it’s flexible, making it a perfect fit for various wallet types.
Promising review: “I bought a different holder that proved to be too thick and rigid for my wallet. I can use that one with a different air tag for an alternate purpose. This one works better for my “back pocket” wallet. (So far, no problems with the air tag falling out).” — Ctexhowlin

A budget-friendly 4-pack of slim holders
Another great option for baggage, these fabric holders have a sticky pack that attaches to most flat surfaces and allows you to slide AirTags in and out easily. These could be great for people who don’t want their Tags to “live” in their luggage, but want the ability to track their luggage while they’re traveling. According to our price trackers, a 4-pack is usually $9.99, which is still a great price.
