With San Diego Comic-Con just kicking off, Hasbro has officially revealed the first additions to its The Real Ghostbusters anniversary lineup, announcing both the Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz & Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set and Ecto-Plazms minifigures, with pre-orders now open.
The Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz & Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set brings two of the animated series’ most recognizable supporting characters into Hasbro’s retro-inspired Kenner Classics collection. Standing 5 inches tall, both figures feature articulation and styling faithful to the original Kenner line, complete with character-specific Proton Packs, Neutrona Wands with stream effects, and two ghost companions to round out the set.
The set is priced at $46.99 USD and is scheduled to ship on November 1. [PRE-ORDER NOW]
Alongside the figures, Hasbro also unveiled The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Plazms, a new line inspired by the 1986 animated series. The release includes 72 minifigures featuring 12 different characters, made up of five Ghostbusters and seven iconic ghosts. Each character is available in one of six possible color variations, including glow-in-the-dark editions.
Packed inside containers reminiscent of Kenner’s original Ecto-Plazm canisters, the minifigure collection is priced at $89.99 USD and is expected to ship on October 1. [PRE-ORDER NOW]
