Leona Maguire will enter the final round of the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open just outside the top 10 after a round of 73 on Saturday.

The Cavan golfer had started 72-72 at the tough-playing Dundonald Links, and she was a shot worse off in Round 3 to leave her on one-over par overall and into a tie for 11th.

That’s 13 shots behind leader Jerry Shin who, despite being just one of seven players under par, is sitting on 12-under par.

The South Korean golfer is being chased by Thailand’s Pajaree Anannarukarn who was just one of two players to break 70 in Round 3, good enough to leave her five back on seven-under par.

Maguire made a difficult start to her round with back-to-back bogeys on the fourth and fifth, but she earned a shot back at the seventh.
