Alley Cats launches on Friday, August 7 and is the latest creation from Ricky Gervais, who also voices a character in the show.
Comedian Diane Morgan joins the cast alongside Natalie Cassidy and Kerry Godliman.
The role comes as Morgan enjoys acclaim for BBC comedy Ann Droid, which has earned praise from critics and viewers alike.

The sitcom, starring Morgan alongside Sue Johnston and Paul Ready, blends comedy and family drama as a robot care worker becomes entangled in the life of a grieving widow.
Morgan, who grew up in Farnworth, is perhaps best known for her dry-witted character Philomena Cunk and has become a familiar face on television through programmes including Cunk on Earth, Motherland and After Life.
Speaking of her latest project, Diane said: “That was so much fun. There’s a lot of the cast of After Life in it.
“They’re very sweary cats. They’re all strays, they meet up and have adventures.”

The series follows a group of foul-mouthed feral cats navigating life on the streets, combining Gervais’ trademark humour with observations about the meaning of life.
Gervais said: “I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited. I can’t wait for everyone to get to know these cats.”
Each episode explores the lives of the strays, who come from different backgrounds but unite in their search for companionship, with their conversations offering a comedic take on everything from the profound to the ridiculous.
