This Sunday, Meghan Markle is a guest judge on MasterChef. The Duchess of Sussex filmed the episode during her trip to Australia, joining Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli for an episode of the cooking show.
“Food and cooking to me is really a love language,” she said, per Australia’s Network 10. “I think it’s such a great way to connect. It’s something that can feel sentimental and meaningful and it’s how I show my nurturing and love for my friends, family, and my kids.”
She added, “There is a lot of pressure in this kitchen. I don’t like to cook that way. I like to cook in a really relaxed fashion, so all I could say to the competitors was to just remember to have fun, to keep a sense of humor about it and to cook from the heart.”
For the day on set, Meghan wore Australian brands, choosing a black Matteau blouse and a black Camila and Marc skirt, and pairing them with Manolo Blahnik pumps.“I love being able to wear local designers and celebrate the craftsmanship that’s happening in whatever region I’m traveling to,” she told Australian publication The Weekly. Meghan shared the fashion credits on OneOff, an AI “fashion discovery platform,” which she joined in April as a participant and investor. (As of this writing, she hasn’t updated it since June 9.)

At the time, T&C understood the Duchess was excited to join OneOff because it made sure the designers she wears are getting proper credit. Meghan, a source noted, “cares about fashion and was motivated to invest not only to expand her portfolio, but to help uplift the fashion designers she is a fan of.”
“Fashion is one of the most powerful industries,” Meghan told The Weekly. “It influences how we feel and what we project. And even if you don’t say a word, you can convey something in what you wear. Over the last several years, I would hear about an incorrect designer getting credit for something I wore, either via affiliate links or press, and that never seemed fair.”
She added, “Credit where credit is due. These brands and designers work so hard and take great pride in their work, and I choose them for a reason. Either supporting a friend, being brand loyal… it’s always been important to me that the correct designer is credited.” Meghan also revealed she styles herself.
While her blouse is out of stock currently, her skirt and heels are still available online.

Meghan has kept a low profile in recent weeks; her last Instagram posts celebrated an Emmy nomination for her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, and shared photos from a family vacation to Portugal.
