The Tour de France is a funny old thing. You spend three weeks inside a bubble, and when it bursts on a Parisian Monday morning, you find yourself not so much reflecting as looking ahead to what’s next. That’s even more true for a 19-year-old, who has their whole career ahead of them, and an immensely promising one at that.

Paul Seixas just finished fourth in his debut Tour de France, and after the big question marks over the wisdom of lining up in the first place, thoughts now turn to the stead in which this experience stands him for the coming years.
