Priscilla Presley has arrived in Mallorca ahead of one of the island’s most glamorous summer events, receiving a personal welcome at Palma Airport from luxury real estate entrepreneur Marcel Remus.
The 81-year-old former wife of rock’n’roll legend Elvis Presley was greeted by Remus following her arrival on the island, where she is set to be one of the star guests at the 14th Remus Lifestyle Night next Thursday. The annual event, organised by Remus, will take place at the Hilton Mallorca Galatzó and is once again expected to bring together a host of international celebrities.

Presley will be joined on the guest list by Dutch presenter and influencer Sylvie Meis, Spanish actress and dancer Mónica Cruz and British-American actress Mischa Barton. Over the years, Remus Lifestyle Night has established itself as a fixture on Mallorca’s summer social calendar, attracting stars and high-profile guests to the island for an evening combining entertainment, luxury and celebrity glamour.

Presley became internationally famous through her relationship with Elvis, whom she met as a teenager while he was stationed in Germany during his military service. They married in Las Vegas in 1967 and welcomed their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, the following year before divorcing in 1973. Their relationship returned to the spotlight with Sofia Coppola’s 2023 film Priscilla, which tells the story from her perspective and explores both the glamour and difficulties of life alongside the King of Rock ’n’ Roll.

Following her divorce from Elvis, Presley forged a career of her own, initially going into business before becoming an actress, with roles in Dallas and the Naked Gun films. Her arrival in Palma now sets the stage for Thursday’s Remus Lifestyle Night, with her appearance adding another major international name to the celebrity line-up heading to Mallorca for the event.
