The winger has put pen to paper on an initial one-year deal at the Crown Oil Arena.
Silcott-Duberry, who featured in our pre-season friendly against Farnham Town on Saturday, is excited to be with us.
“It’s a pleasure to be here,” he commented.
“For me, I felt the trust from the gaffer, and I instantly wanted to be a part of this.
“The Club feels very positive, and it gives me a feeling that we’re going to do good things together.
“Hopefully there’s a lot to come from me and the Club itself.”
Head Coach Ian Watson added:
“Zain has really impressed me since coming in with us.
“His attitude in training has been really good, and I thought he lit Saturday’s game up when he was subbed on.
“He’s an exciting player, and we’re ready to push and drive him to get to where he wants to be.”
Silcott-Duberry was part of the Norwich City Academy as a youngster, before joining Chelsea at the age of 12.
Whilst with the two-time Champions League winners, he represented England at Under-15, 16 and 17 level, signing his first professional contract in 2022.
A move to Bournemouth followed in January 2025, making his Premier League debut as a late substitute in a 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest a week after joining.
Last season saw Silcott-Duberry make the move abroad to Olympiacos B in Greek Super League 2, before he returned to England with Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in February.
He departed Hillsborough in the summer and has trained with Dale since our return from Spain last week, making an impression as a half-time substitute against Farnham at the weekend.
Welcome, Zain!
