Thailand recorded a current account deficit of US$3.5 billion in June, the Bank of Thailand (BoT) said on Friday.
The economy was steady in June compared to the previous month, the BoT said in a statement.
Exports, a key driver of the economy, rose 21.1% in June from a year earlier while imports jumped 48.9%, the central bank said.
The private investment index rose 0.5% in June on the month while the private consumption index was up 1.1%, it said.
The economy slowed in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the prior quarter.
