Cab My Ride, based in Southampton, has been awarded the Taxi and Courier Services contract for University Hospital Southampton (UHS) NHS Foundation Trust.

Cab My Ride will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, supporting the movement of patients, NHS staff, medication and urgent operational journeys.
The service will extend across Southampton and the wider region.
Unlike a traditional taxi operator, Cab My Ride combines professional transport operations with an in-house technology platform.
This offers the trust real-time journey management, improved reporting, and greater governance.

The company will equip University Hospital Southampton with customised tools to manage online, telephone and mobile app bookings.
Features include live tracking, approval workflows and comprehensive audit trails.
Cab My Ride’s team will offer round-the-clock support, backed by a network of drivers across Southampton and Hampshire.
The company has focused on growth through investment in electric vehicles, smart dispatch systems and customer experience.
It also emphasises compliance monitoring and supporting local employment.
To ensure a smooth rollout, the transport provider will work closely with the trust during mobilisation.
