The Blues, Hull and Fulham have been linked with a summer move for Burnley star Luis, 26, a former Portugal Under-21 international who started his career at Benfica and made 31 appearances in the Premier League on loan for the Clarets last season.
But Tigers boss Jakirovic told the Hull Daily Mail that Luis won’t now be heading to Hull, instead opting for a permanent move to another club, something that they could not offer.

“I think that he will not come to us,” he revealed. “I think that he will go to another club, though I don’t know which one.
“His move, I believe, will be a permanent transfer, so we don’t have a chance with that because we want to loan him from Burnley. This is his decision and his family, which I respect.”
We understand that Town are interested in Luis, a physical defensive midfielder, who cost Burnley almost £21m earlier this summer due to an obligation to buy after his loan spell from Benfica.
Fulham, however, are yet to show interest, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
