The Botcherby fighter defeated John Ferguson in a hard-fought middleweight contest in Newcastle.
Nolan earned a unanimous judges’ decision after his battle with Ferguson went the full five-round distance at Walker Activity Dome.
It marked a successful first step into the high-profile bare-knuckle arena for the 35-year-old Cumbrian.
Experienced Newcastle-based fighter Ferguson, 38, was Nolan’s first opponent on the big stage.
The two men traded powerful blows throughout but Nolan got the better of the home-city fighter in the five-round clash.
Nolan and Ferguson embraced at the end of the showdown before the Carlisle man was declared the winner.
The fight featured on a card at BKFC Fight Night Newcastle that was headed by Bradley Taylor’s UK bantamweight title fight victory over Lewis Garside.
Nolan is the latest Carlisle fighter to impress on the BKFC stage, following the likes of Danny Christie and Kieron Sewell into the top bare-knuckle platform.
Speaking to the News & Star ahead of the Ferguson fight, Nolan said he was excited to get the opportunity to fight on the BKFC stage.
