Huawei has opened the pre-order gates for the Nova 16 SE smartphone and at the same time, the company has revealed the chip, battery, and camera specs of the upcoming pocket-friendly product. Here’s what the new handset is bringing to the table.
According to the official details, Huawei Nova 16 SE will feature an 8500mAh giant battery with 66W super fast charging, ensuring maximum energy for every task.
Notably, the OEM has used a similar cell capacity for the Enjoy 90 Pro Max. In the current scenario, the tech giant is seeding this battery pack to the new SE model.
Besides the battery, the Huawei Nova 16 SE will feature the Kirin 8020 chip paired with HarmonyOS. The hardware and software fusion will offer effective security and smoother operations, prioritizing a seamless experience for users.
Kirin 8020 chipset has the following core configuration:
1 super-large core @ 2.29GHz
3 medium cores @ 2.05GHz
4 efficiency cores @ 1.30GHz
GPU – Maleoon 920 (2 processing units at 840MHz)
Huawei Nova 16 SE will bring a 6.84-inch ultra-bright and 8000-nit high-brightness screen. While the display parameters are missing from this official frame, the firm said the device will deliver crystal-clear visuals, making every scene vibrant and captivating.
For the camera, the SE handset could feature a 50MP primary sensor coupled with a multispectral lens. This would be the first time that Huawei is integrating a color reproduction lens into a pocket-friendly smartphone.
Other highlights include a full-of-vibe design with 3D light and shadow tech that offers a colorful effect, captivating at first glance, and Beidou satellite image messaging. The device will further support 5A network speed, offering stable connectivity.
Huawei will launch the Nova 16 SE on August 5 alongside various flagship PCs and tablets. Meanwhile, interested buyers can reserve the device from the VMall shopping channel.
