Attack on Titan 3 will indeed release this year — but it’s not going to get into a fight with GTA 6, or any of the many PS5 games that are launching in September and October.
Instead, it’s opted for a 10th December date, which seems like a pretty wise decision to me.
This upcoming adaptation from publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force has the potential to be the best Attack on Titan title yet, building on the already great Attack on Titan 2.
Its campaign covers the source material’s entire story — for the first time in video game form — and it’s got an open world to explore between missions.
You can catch some fresh gameplay footage via the above trailer, but if you’ve played the aforementioned predecessor, then you’ll mostly know what’s in store — it’s just set to be a bigger and more in-depth exploration of everything Attack on Titan.
